The Londoner Macao represents a comprehensive reimagining of Sands Cotai Central, first opened in April 2012, with the new-look property to be unveiled in stages throughout 2021. Phase 1 will comprise the all-suite The Londoner Hotel, the Crystal Palace atrium, new dining options and interactive London-themed attractions. Later phases will include the Suites by David Beckham, the luxury, residential-style all-suite hotel Londoner Court, the re-themed Shoppes at Londoner and the Londoner Arena. The final cost of the redevelopment will come in at US$1.9 billion, Sands China revealed, slightly reduced from earlier estimates of US$2.2 billion. More than 5,700 staff comprise The Londoner Macao’s opening team.
