IAG JAPAN FEB 2021 10 G2E ASIA POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 2021 G2Eアジア、2021年8月に延期 リード エグジビション と米国ゲーミング協会は、当初に 予定していたG2Eアジアを、2021年5月から8月17〜19 日へと延期することを発表した。 今回の延期は、新型コロナが今なお世界の旅行に影 響を及ぼしていることが原因で、主催者側は、日程を遅 らせることによって、出展者や参加者は余裕を持って準 備を計画することができると述べている。G2Eアジアの 会場は、以前から開催されているザ・ベネチアン・マカ オ。 リード エグジビション チャイナの最高執行責任者、 ジョセフィーヌ・リー氏は、「出展者及びマカオ政府と継 続的に協議した結果、リード エグジビションと米国ゲー ミング協会は、8月に開催することによって、この業界が G2Eアジアに期待するようになっている質の高い教育コ ンテンツを展示し、価値ある市場を作り出すためのベス トな機会を提供することができるという決断に至りまし た。 この業界が新型コロナによる壊滅的な打撃から回復 を続ける中で、G2Eアジアでゲーミングコミュニティが一 堂に会するのを楽しみにしています」とコメントした。 2020年、G2Eアジアは7月そして12月へと2度延期さ れ、その後開催自体が中止された。 REED EXHIBITIONS AND THE AMERICAN GAMING ASSOCIATION have announced the postponement of G2E Asia from its original May scheduling until 17 to 19 August 2021. The delay comes as COVID-19 continues to impact travel around the world, with organizers stating the new dates will provide exhibitors and attendees more time to plan their participation. The Venetian Macao remains the venue for G2E Asia in August. “Through ongoing consultation with our exhibitors and the Macau government, Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association determined that an August event provides the best opportunity to showcase the caliber of educational content and create the valuable marketplace that our industry has come to expect from G2E Asia,” said Josephine Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions China. “We look forward to bringing the gaming community together at G2E Asia as the industry continues to recover from the devastating impacts of COVID-19.” G2E Asia was postponed twice in 2020 – first to July and then December – before being cancelled altogether.
